Activities for week four first semester 9/21 - 9/25 - 2015

Nothing is more important than relationships. As the school year moves on let us build our relationship. Andrew Carnegie once said, "There is no use whatever trying to help people who do not help themselves. You cannot push anyone up a ladder unless he is willing to climb himself." I hope you want to climb the ladder of success - your success. We have a very busy week stay on top of things. 1. Review and Grade "Babylon" Packet
2. See Planet of the Apes
3. Test-Taking Skills Packet (homework) 
4. Review and Study: Vocabulary, Literature Terms, and "Babylon"

Wednesday 9/23
1. "By The Waters of Babylon" Test
2. Literature Terms Test (you need your spiral notebook)
3. Read and Discuss "Creativity lives in all of us"
4. Study for Prefix Test and Read S.S.R. Book (homework)

Thursday 9/24
1. Prefix Test
2. Read College Writing Papers
3. Start Narrative Essay (your own personal experience)
4. Make Suffix Cards (homework)

Friday 9/25
1. Suffix Cards due
2. Review Tests
3. Work on your Narrative Essay (homework)
4. Check out Fahrenheit 451

1. Prefix Test Corrections - Write word and definitions each ten times in columns - one side of the paper only (due Tuesday)
2. Get Fahrenheit 451 (your copy to annotate in it) 50 points
