Activities for week twelve 11/23 - 11/25 - 2009

This is a special time of the year as we move into the holiday season; I hope you have the ability to see real treasure and true value. Please check your grade on Aeries then you may see me for an extra credit reading for Thanksgiving vacation (you must know your grade). You must read aloud "A Thanksgiving Fable for You and Your Family" in a family situation and bring back a note from one of your parents. See me for the rest of the details. There is also a Fahrenheit 451 extra credit project for vacation. Please take advantage of your opportunities to bring your grade up during your time off from school.

Monday 11/23
1. Vocabulary Test
2. Review Fahrenheit 451 Test and Worksheets
3. Work on Notebook (is everything developed?)
4. Read, Read, Read, and finish anything not done (homework)

Tuesday 11/24
1. Lecture: Anticommunism and The McCarthy Era
2. Review Commentary Packet
3. Personal Commentary Packet (homework)

Wednesday 11/25
1. Read and discuss Thanksgiving Comics
2. Do Word Search
3. Finish all worksheets and finish Fahrenheit 451, and study Glossary Terms
(Come back ready to wrap up Fahrenheit 451 and take a Glossary Terms Test)
