This week progress reports will be sent home; I hope your grade is what you want. We cannot live in a way that is inconsistent with our expectations for ourselves. It just doesn't happen. What do you want from this class, this school, and this life? Your actions will determine your result. 1. Intro paragraph due – review in groups and type final copy (homework)

3. Read “The Pedestrian” pages 95 - 101 (homework)

Thursday 10/9
1. Final Copy of Introduction due
2. Pre-test Vocabulary
3. Read and discuss “The Pedestrian”
4. Answer questions 7 and 8 page 101 (type and develop your answers) Homework

Friday 10/10
1. Word Roots Test
2. Review homework
3. Practice CAHSEE test
4. Start reading Fahrenheit 451 (homework)
