5th Week's lessons 10/1 - 10/5 - 2007

This is the fifth week of school, because of this I want to see how much you have learned, and if our class is assimilating the material. Also we will be reading Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, and you may buy your own copy of it for fifty points extra credit.

Wednesday 10/3
1. “By the Waters of Babylon” Test
2. Review Thesis Test
3. Set up Learning Teams
4. Read pages 84 – 94 (homework) Ray Bradbury

Thursday 10/4
1. Essay Terms Test
2. Review Literary Test
3. Read and discuss “There Will Come Soft Rains”
4. Study for Vocabulary Test

Friday 10/5
1. Vocabulary Review Test
2. Practice CAHSEE Test
3. Group work: “There Will Come Soft Rains” Test
