In one of his notebooks Leonardo da Vinci wrote, "Iron rusts from disuse; stagnant water loses its purity and in cold weather becomes frozen; even so does inaction sap the vigor of the mind." That distaste for inaction drove da Vinci's intellectual curiosity his entire life. His love for learning never stopped.
