Parents you should receive a printout of your student's grade on Monday 10/9. It is due back 10/10 for 25 homework points.

Monday 10/9
1. Review Vocabulary Test
2. Set up Collective Groups (we will use the groups for a variety of purposes)
3. Vocabulary Test correction (they are to go in the first section of your spiral notebook)
4. Do Unit 3 Vocabulary A, B, and C don't forget the crossword puzzle (homework) 60pts

Tuesday 10/10
1. Review Vocabulary
2. Journal-Quick write listen to CD "Struggle" (second section of spiral notebook)
3. Read There Will Come Soft Rains pages 84-93 (homework)

Wednesday 10/11
1. Vocabulary and Spelling Bee
2. Read and discuss There Will Come Soft Rains
3. Answer questions 1-7 page 93 and do Part D Vocab (homework) 55pts

Thursday 10/12
1. Pre-test and Vocabulary Bingo
2. Soft Rain Quiz
3. Review homework

Friday 10/13
1. Unit 3 Vocabulary Test
2. Review Quiz
3. Practice CAHSEE Test
4. Essay Introduction hand-out (Study it you will be writing an introduction Monday)
