As we finish the year I still have a few messages and opportunities for you. If you want to be successful and to maximize your efforts and talents as a good student you need to stop blaming others, take a good look in the mirror, and take responsibility for your own life and grades. Oprah Winfrey says, "My philosophy is that not only are you responsible for your life, but doing the best at this moment puts you in the best place for the next moment." I hope that you will be in the place you want to be next year and this summer. See your extra credit opportunities and do them, plus make up Reading points.

Benjamin Disraeli said, "Nurture your mind with great thoughts, for you will never go any higher than you think." As we finish this quarter, this semester, this year - finish strong; think of all you still can do this semester. "Excellence is the gradual result of always wanting to do better." stated Pat Riley. And if you want to do better you may make up any reading points, also please check Aeries and see if you are missing any tests you have not taken. Don't forget there is always extra credit. Plus you can come and talk with me about Julius Caesar for five minutes and earn back any participation points you did not earn last week. There will be twenty-five point again this week for participation - raise your hand and answer at least one question each day. Finally, remember I will always be here to help you if you do not understand something - see me and do not lose points because you do not understand anything in Act II's packet, or anything else.
