Activities for week thirteen 4/27 - 5/1 - 2015

Magic Johnson paraphrased John F. Kennedy when he stated, "Ask not what your teammates can do for you. Ask what you can do for your teammates." Are you making our class more interesting? Are you sharing your ideas about our reading, and really getting involved in our discussions? President Woodrow Wilson asserted, "You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand." Are you adding value to our class? Activities for week eleven 4/13 - 4/17 - 2015

Novelist Charles Wilson says, "No matter the size of the bottle, the cream always rises to the top." Talent gives you a head start on others, but the advantage it gives lasts only a short time. Songwriter Irving Berlin understood this truth when he said, "The toughest thing about success is that you've got to keep on being a success. Talent is only a starting point in business. You've got to keep working that talent." As we finish the school year keep working your best. If you missed tests before vacation come Monday and make them up.
