Activities for week twelve 11/29 - 12/3 - 2010

Galileo Galilei stated, "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use." What does this mean to you? Write me a typed MLA formatted paragraph explaining what the quote means to you in relationship to our class and explain who is Galileo. Are you using your endowments? This is an extra credit project due Monday (Possible 50 points), (25 points Tuesday before class only - absolute deadline). Please check Aeries so you know where you are in our class, and what you need to do to get what you want. Is there S.S.Reading points that you are missing?

Activities for week eleven 11/5 - 11/19 - 2010

My childhood idol Willie Mays said, "What you are thinking, what shape your mind is in, is what makes the biggest difference of all." As we approach the holidays let's remember all we have and use all of our opportunities to get the most out of ourselves, and help those we can. If your grade is still not what you want you need to see me, so that I can help you earn what you want. We also are in the school wide can food drive which is an extra credit opportunity for you, the deadline is Thursday.
