Activities for week fifteen 12/14 - 12/18 - 2009

We are moving from the future of Fahrenheit 451 to the past of Sophocles' Antigone. As you read can you connect this quote to the drama? "In prosperity our friends know us. In adversity we know our friends."

Also as we move to Christmas - "do you know it is a party? It is a birthday party ... birthdays are meant to be celebrated. It's why we say 'Merry Christmas!'" stated Rick Warren. Let's work hard and enjoy this last week of school before vacation, then you can celebrate all the rest of this year.

Please check Aeries and know your grade in our class if you are not passing or have a 'D' you need to see me so we can find a way for you to improve. Finally make sure you have a dialogue and partner that I have approved for your class presentation of Antigone.
