Hey, have you read To Kill a Mockingbird yet? Next week we will be done with the novel; you still have three more Tests not quizzes on it. Please make sure you do all your work this week, and if you do you may do Vocab Lab 3 vocabulary words for extra credit due Friday if I see all your other work done. Also you may bring in a printout from Aeries with a signature and printed name of a parent, printed out Thursday; due before class Friday.

Aloha, we are marching towards summer, make sure you can enjoy it. Please finish reading To Kill a Mockingbird I am now going to start lectures on the novel to tie it altogether. For extra credit you can do dialectical journals for chapters 23 - 31; they are due Friday at 7:30 am or before. Also over vacation finish you reading book and have a new one when we come back from vacation.

2nd semester 7th week's lessons 3/10 - 3/14 - 2008

It is finally here, you will be taking the CAHSEE test Tuesday and Wednesday. If you take the test both days you will earn 20 points for S.S. Reading. You also can do extra credit dialectical journals for chapters 16-22, they are ten points each if well developed and well written and are due by 7:30 am Thursday typed MLA format.

2nd Semester 6th week's lessons 3/3 - 3/7 - 2008

This week I will send a progress report of your grade to the district. If you do not like your grade do something about it. Extra credit this week is vocabulary cards week 9, 10, 11, also you may do journals for chapters 9 - 15 typed and well developed with solid insight and commentary. The journals are due Thursday by 7:30 am, and the vocabulary cards are due on the stool before the bell Wednesday.
