This is the last week of the quarter, and some of you are still missing things. (Some you may be able to make up and others it may be just too late - see me.) Make sure you do your assigned reading for Antigone; you will be tested on the reading.

8th Week's lessons 3/19 - 3/23 - 2007

This week you have the CAHSEE Test. The objective writing portion of the CAHSEE consists of three main areas: sentence structure, punctuation, plus grammar and usage. You will need to understand the following writing terms: main clause, subordinate clause, modifer, quotation marks, commas, semicolons, underlining, italics, colons, ellipses, hyphens. The Parts of Speech will also be tested: Subject/verb agreement, pronoun and antecedent, nouns and pronoun agreement, and pronouns as object of preposition.

Also we start drama - reading Antigone. Please do your reading and memorize your lines.
