New Semester - Week 1's Lessons

New quarter, new semester, new start; let's take advantage of it. If you have a Fahrenheit 451 book by Friday 2/2 it is 50 points extra credit. You may also do vocabulary cards every week for extra credit (10 points - must be done neatly and correctly).

Monday 1/29
1. Review grade and final (homework is printout of your grade signed and returned)
2. Do Vocab Lab 2 pages 91 to 99 (homework) 60 points

Tuesday 1/30
1. Review Vocab Lab 2
2. Do Unit 9 Vocabulary and crossword puzzle (homework) 85 points
3. You may do EXTRA CREDIT CARDS - they are due Thursday this week

Wednesday 1/31
1. Review and grade Unit 9
2. Read and discuss "The Pedestrian" page 95-101 (homework)

Thursday 2/1
1. Pretest and Vocabulary Bingo
2. Finish "The Pedestrian" and discuss questions on page 101
3. Study for vocabulary test

Friday 2/2
1. Unit 9 Vocabulary Test
2. Check Fahrenheit 451 books (EXTRA CREDIT) 50 points
3. Practice CAHSEE Test

Finals are here, and so is the end of the first semester. I will still be here at 7 am if you have questions or problems.

Part B - 50 Vocabulary words and 13 sentence completion from Units 5-7
Part C - 25 Spelling words
Part D - 25 Idioms
Part E - 20 Literature terms
Part F - 60 To Kill a Mockingbird questions
*********** Each questions is worth 3 points each. The total for your
final is 729 points. 29 of those points are extra credit.

If you think you will need extra time you may start your final early. Period three you may start at Break, and Period four you may start at 7:40 am.
